Default Ethy & TWW:Free Play out now on Google Play

I'm extremely pleased to announce the first instalment of my second game: Ethy & the Terrible Wolf Wizard is now available on Google Play!

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....greenboxgames

    The Spiel....

An Adventure/Puzzle game, for children and Adventurers of all ages!

You are, Ethy the bat boy; a young creature of a long forgotten race as he searches for his lost brother. On his travels he encounters multiple enemies to tackle with his sword and trusty bomb blaster.

The game combines classic action/adventure, hack 'n' slash gameplay with a projectile weapon as its main combat mechanic. Each enemy must be approached and attacked tactically depending on the environment, its particular physiology and stats.

The game also includes simple puzzle elements, inside the games Labyrinth area/levels to add variety to the gameplay; activate switches and solve riddles using logical thinking. Ethy must also converse with other character’s to gather clues and help him solve some of the puzzles/riddles in the game.

I hope anyone who downloads and plays, enjoys playing it as much as I've enjoyed developing this so far

    Thank you

So the initial release was just built for iPhone, and the answer to this may be the obvious answer ... do Apple allow you to just add in iPad support in a binary update? (I thought you couldn't, but that was ages ago since I last looked)

I don't think you can actually. I wrote iPad specifically because the iPhone version has a pesky orientation problem that the iPad doesn't, and until I fix it, I didn't want to advertise for iPhone.

It would be nice to target iPhone/iPad specifically though but I haven't figured out how to, if you even can....

If you're using Unity, you do it in the Player Settings, and then in XCode make sure you have iPhone selected in the first tab - I forget its name.

It's not the best idea to do 2 separate apps though, it's better to have a universal app !

Thanks, but I'm not smart enough for unity. I use construct 2, Cordova/Intel XDK and then application loader. I have by build settings all set for landscape, which works perfectly with android, it even works when I test on iOS, but for some reason, as soon as it's published by Apple the orientation settings are ignored.

    Major headache.
