Thank you, and I guess not, no. I can't really complain or demand either, since nobodies getting paid (yet). I'm just gratefull that I've mangaged to turn a one man team and an idea into a 6 man company and a playable game build in just a few months.

certain elements of the games world have been distorted by the games antagonist so that's my new reason for aesthetic incontinuity anyway

Thanks Davey. Hopefully, within a few days, I'll be back with a demo for you guys to play test. ( have one already but extremely short and not worth playing)

I'm just waiting for the coders to upload the latest build and I'll post it up here

    Hey Guys and gals,

a brief pre-alpha demo is now available to download from our website. It's very short and obviously still needs a lot of work but for anyone who's interested and has been following this project of ours; here it is: http://www.greenboxgames.net/

    Controls:

    Move character - arrow keys
    Sword - 'A' key
    Bomb blaster - 'D' Key

Hope you appreciate, it is, what it is, and what we hope to achieve when it's finally finished. Feedback is welcome.......Enjoy

Why did you choose A and D for the ability keys just out of curiosity?

    Edit:

Pleasssseee fix the character controller it is horribly slow

Also, after I killed something, my character was stuck facing one way, and I could no longer use my sword. Not sure how to replicate it though.

It was a suggestion by myself, to the coders. Mainly because it felt comfortable on my keyboard (at the time) and they just stuck with it.

Do you not like? Is it uncomfortable?

Slow? Okay, noted . And that has never happened to me before.

Well for any game of this genre that uses arrow keys to move, ASD and ZXC are the most popular keys to use, however I don't see why S is missed out unless you plan to fill it later. If not, it just means I have to split my fingers further apart to use the abilities. I would still use A and S or Z and X for the basic skills, and any other unlockables will get added one key further along.

You're a PC gamer right? I'm not, probably why I chose arrow keys for movement. And you're right, A & D is kinda annoying. Thanks for the feedback.

    I am actually lol

Arrow keys for movement is fine, games of this genre use it all the time, I would just remap the ability keys closer together It's a minor design decision, but some players may find it weird for their fingers to play.
