As you can probably see, I have made my own signature image to show who I am ('Rich - Train2Game Student'), what course I'm on ('Games Development'), what my latest TMA or exam result is, and what section I'm currently working on.
I thought I would also make it possible for others to create one just like mine, but save you the time and effort of having to make a signature image and keep updating it yourself.
The following link provides you with a simple form, and an example, to allow you to create your own signature image like mine.
Note for v2 Only: It helps if you know what hexadecimal colours are (used in HTML). otherwise, have a look at either of the following two links for more information / example colours:
http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_colors.asp - Explains the hexadecimal method.
http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_colorvalues.asp - Gives colour examples and hexadecimal values for them.
Examples of the signature images (colours and more are selectable):
Step by Step - How to make your own signature image and put it into your signature:
Step 1: First, click on the link above or click here
Step 2: Fill out the boxes and select the tag you want after your name, select the course you are on and select the section and part you are on in your course and click "Submit".
Step 3: In a few moments, you should now see the signature image generated by the page. If you are happy with the generated image, move onto the next step. If not, make the changes and click "Submit" again.
Step 4: Copy the text from the box under the generated signature image called "BBCode".
Note: There is also a box called "Back to this page". You may want to keep this link for later use for whenever you wish to update your signature image.
Step 5: Go back to the forum, login as usual and then go to your "User CP".
Step 6: Click on the link to the left under "Settings & Options" called "Edit Signature".
Step 7: Paste the BBCode you copied into the box that appears. If there is other text or BBCode in this box, then you probably don't need this this guide :P
Step 8: Click "Preview Signature" to look at what your signature will look like. If you are happy with it, click "Save Signature"
Note: There is no virus, spyware, or logging features of any kind with this link, but if you are not sure about it, then just ignore this post.
