Smile need help with Portfolio Project 2 (QA Project)

    I only have few questions,

Do you have to put videos or pictures of the bug you find on the QA test form? Is it essential?
If I don't put any videos or pictures up would I fail this portfolio project?

    Many Thanks
    Mike

Ideally yes put them in, it can only help people reproduce the bugs.
If it's something really obvious "game crashes when loading level 4" or similar you can probably do without.

You can actually download the whole portfolio marking PDF from student world and it should tell you what you have to put in to get top marks.

    heres what I did.

If for example there is a graphical bug which stays on the screen pernamently I put a picture in the document.

If its a bug that shows up for a secound I record it and put it in a file under a specific name then put " Refer to (Name here) video" since you can't put video's on a word document.

However I don't think the tutors did that since they told me to put pictures and video's where possible. (Unless there is some space magic im unaware of for video's to work on a document)

*sigh* now you mention that I did something similar in my GCSE course work when making webpages making them connect by a link.
    Thanks for the reminder.

But will it work for open office?

You can add a hyperlink to a separate file, for example,

    file:\01.jpeg

So long as you include the correct file in the same folder as your bug report, this link would work.

    Hope this helps.

Oh I already did it, turns out Open Office has a HTML function.
